Nokia set to buy Navteq

Nokia have reached an agreement to buy US based mapping company Navteq for $8.1 billion. The aqusition has been agreed by both boards and is now subject to shareholder approval.
Mapping services are fast becoming a must have element to high end mobile devices and this latest development is designed to give Nokia the edge when it comes to integrated navigation sloutions of the future.
