Five Things to understand about Fuel & Filling Up in SA.

From babies to old age OAPs. Mobile broadband is an area where they can get a new connection. However, work is still required on the velocity and having the ability to get a connection. Fill up whenever possible : Its a giant country and there might be a massive gap between gas stations ( it can be loads of kilometres ). Costs are Fixed : The costs are under the control of the governing body so they are the costs will be the same regardless of where you go inside a given area.

Bring Money : cards may not be accepted in any gas station so you'll have to pay in readies. Luckily most gas stations have an ATM so you can withdraw the money there. But if you would like to not carry that much money or would favor not to use an ATM, you can always get a Garage Card which is largely a short lived card that you should buy in any garage or bank. Tip the Attendant : The garages in SA are typically not self-service so when you drive into a station you'll be steered into a clear! pump by an attendant who will then fill you up, clean your windscreen, take a look at your oil & water and even your air pressure if requested. It is always a great idea to have all these checks on a long trip and it will only cost about five Rand tip for the attendant. Also the question does arise will companies dispose of their land lines for the mobile telephone / mobile broadband.
