TAG Heuer plans its own phone series

Luxury watch maker TAG Heuer has teamed up with Modelabs to produce its own range of mobile phones. The first handset should appear in the first half of 2008 and we should expect the designs to reflect the same qualities as their time peieces. Words such as "contemporary", "technological" and "timeless" being used by company chief Christophe Babin to describe them.
Modelabs have recently been responsible for branded phones carrying the Levi Strauss and Hummer brands while TAG Heuer is best known for its precision sports timing and association with Formula 1 racing. It remains to be seen which style of handset will best reflect these values.
